Zhu Weiqun

This is a Chinese name; the family name is Zhu.

Zhu Weiqun (Chinese: 朱维群; born March 1947) is a politician of the People's Republic of China. He formerly served as the executive vice director of the United Front Work Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

Born in Jianhu County, Jiangsu Province, Zhu graduated from the department of journalism of the graduate school of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, with a master's degree. He joined the Communist Party of China in July 1970. In February 1999, he was appointed vice director of the United Front Work Department of the CPC. He became the executive vice director of the Department in January 2006.[1]

He was a member of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the 16th CPC National People's Congress and a member of the 17th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.[1]
