Zhongpu Township or Jhongpu Township (Chinese: 中埔鄉; pinyin: Zhōngbù Xiāng) is a rural township in Chiayi County, Taiwan.
Geography
It has a population of 46,156 and an area of 129.5016 square kilometres (50.0008 sq mi).

Economy
The agriculture sector employs around 15,000 people. It is one of Chiayi's most important fruit producers, which are papayas, pineapples, bananas, tangerines and mushrooms.[2]
