Zenith Komarniski (born August 13, 1978) is a retired Canadian ice hockey player.

Playing career

He started playing junior hockey in the 1994–1995 season on the Tri-City Americans of the Western Hockey League. He played there for the next three seasons, until early in the 1997–1998 season, when he was traded to the Spokane Chiefs. While playing on Tri-City, he was drafted in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft, 75th overall, by the Vancouver Canucks.

He began his professional playing career in 1998–1999 on the Syracuse Crunch, the Canucks' then AHL affiliate. The following season, 1999–2000, he played most of the season on Syracuse, but also got to play 18 games in the NHL on Vancouver. He would not get to play another NHL game until the 2002–2003, spending the better part of three seasons on both the Kansas City Blades, the Canucks' IHL affiliate before the league disbanded, and the Manitoba Moose, the Canucks' current AHL affiliate. Midway through the 2003–2004 season, he was traded from Vancouver to the Columbus Blue Jackets. He split the season playing on Manitoba and on Syracuse, Columbus' current AHL affiliate. He also played 2 games on Columbus later in the year. During the 2004–2005 lockout season, he played on Syracuse, but in the following off-season he signed with the Calgary Flames, and played the 2005–2006 season on Omaha, the Flames' AHL affiliate.
