Zee Cinema is a Hindi satellite movie channel in India based in Mumbai. The channel is owned by the popular Zee Entertainment Enterprises which is a part of Essel Group, and broadcasts in many countries around the world. The channel was formerly a part of STAR TV channel umbrella.[1]

Zee Cinema was the first Hindi Movie Channel of India. Since the day of its inception in April 1995, the channel has gained enough strength by reaching into the hearts of Hindi movie fans residing all over Asia, Europe, Americas and Africa. This channel is broadcast for about 24 hours a day by broadcasting around six movies and different other types of film based programming. Zee Cinema is broadcast for more than 75% of the Cable & Satellite households across India.
