Zayd ibn Umar
Zayd ibn Umar (Arabic: زيد بن عمر) was the son of the second caliph of Islam (also known as the Rashidun) Umar ibn al-Khattab and the grandson of the fourth caliph of Islam, Ali ibn Abi Talib.
Biography
His mother was Umm Kulthum bint Ali, the daughter of the last of the four Rashidun (or Islamic caliphs) and amirul mumienin Ali ibn Abi Talib. He was killed when was trying to bring peace to his clan of Banu `Adi at the same time his mother Umm Kulthum died.
