Zamad Baig (Urdu: زماد بیگ) is a Pakistani singer and the winner of Pakistan Idol (season 1)[1] Zamad is a Sufi rock singer hails from a non-music background. He is one of the 13 finalist of currently running Pakistani reality singing competition Pakistan Idol.[2] Zamad follow Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Reshma and Ali Azmat as his singing Idol. He studies in Beaconhouse School System, Lahore.

Pakistan Idol

For Pakistan Idol in Lahore Auditions.[3] He sang his Idol song and received all three yeses from judges. Zamad was advanced to finals after getting public votes, his consistent performances in Pakistan Idol make him a tough competitor.He is best friends with Pakistan Idol contestant Kashif Ali, and good friends with Pakistan idol contestants Shameer Aziz Quidwai, Syed Ali Asad Zaidi and Muhammad Shoaib. Zamad came in elimination zone on March 2, 2014 but was saved by audience.[4] On April 27, 2014 Zamad became the winner of Pakistan Idol (season 1) beating runner-up Muhammad Shoaib.[1]
