Zaina Agoro (born in Chicago, Illinois on the 7th of June), better known by her stage name Zaina, is a Nigerian American singer and songwriter.
Life and career
Zaina was born in Chicago, Illinois to Nigerian parents where she spent her early years. She began her journey to stardom after securing a law degree. During this period, she subsequently returned to Nigeria with the intention of bringing her experience home to her roots.[1]Zaina has gained recognition in the United States among the Nigerian community and received 2 nominations from the NEA awards 2008/2011.[2]
Zaina has had the privilege to work with artists such as Eldee, Banky W, Styl Plus, Lynxx, Sauce Kid, Sasha, and many others. She has also graced the same stage with the likes of D'banj and 2face Idibia. She was also a performer at the NEA 2011 awards in NYC.[3]
Zaina was signed to Soul Muzik in July 2012 [4] and has released 2 Singles[5] and one video [6] so far.
