Zach Merrett (born 3 October 1995) is a professional Australian rules footballer, currently playing with the Essendon Football Club in the Australian Football League.

AFL career

Merrett was drafted in the second round of the 2013 National Draft. He made his debut against North Melbourne[1] in round 1 of the 2014 season. Merrett was named as the sub and came on in the third quarter, replacing Martin Gleeson.[2]

Zach Merrett is the younger brother of his teammate Jackson Merrett.[3]
