Zé Nuno Azevedo (born 19 July 1969) is a Portuguese retired footballer who played as right back.

Over the course of thirteen seasons, Azevedo amassed Primeira Liga totals of 336 matches with 8 goals, mainly at S.C. Braga.

Club career

Born in Paranhos, on the suburbs of Porto, Azevedo started his professional career with C.F. União de Lamas in the second level, joining Famalicão one year later, where he caught the attention of Gil Vicente which signed him in 1989.

After three seasons in Barcelos, Azevedo joined S.C. Braga where he would spent ten straight seasons, acting as undisputed starter on several of those, retiring in 2003 at age 34.[1][2][3]
