Yuraqqucha (Quechua yuraq white, qucha lake,[1] "white lake", hispanicized spelling Yurajcocha), Tintayari or Wampuni (Aymara wampu boat, -ni, a suffix, "the one with a boat", hispanicized Huampuni) is a lake in Peru located in the Junín Region, Huancayo Province, Chongos Alto District.[2] It is situated at a height of about 4,466 metres (14,652 ft), about 5 km long and 0.84 km at its widest point. Yuraqqucha lies north of the lake Aqchiqucha and northeast of the lake Wich'iqucha.
