Javier Monsálvez Carazo, commonly known as Yuma (born 8 October 1985), is a Spanish footballer who plays for CD Puerta Bonita as a central midfielder.

Club career

Born in Madrid, Yuma finished his graduation with local Rayo Vallecano, making his senior debuts with the reserves in 2004–05, in Tercera División. In the same season he also appeared with the main squad in Segunda División B and, in the 2005 summer, he was loaned to CF Fuenlabrada also in the third level.[1]

Yuma returned to Rayo in 2006, but struggled to appear regularly for the side, only contributing with 20 starts in two years combined and being promoted in the second). On 3 September 2008 he made his professional debut, playing 55 minutes in a 1–3 away success against SD Huesca for the season's Copa del Rey. His Segunda División debut came ten days later, in a 2–1 home win over Deportivo Alavés.[2]

After appearing sparingly in the following two seasons (being restricted due to injuries), Yuma left the Franjirrojos in June 2011.[1] He signed with UD Salamanca shortly after, returning to the third division.[3]

Yuma continued to appear in the third level in the following years, representing Ontinyent CF[4] and CD Puerta Bonita.[5]
