Yulia Peresild (Russian: Юлия Сергеевна Пересильд, Yulia Sergeyevna Peresild; born 5 September 1984 in Pskov) is a Russian stage and film actress.
Biography
Peresild was born in Pskov in 1984. In 2006 she graduated from Russian Academy of Theatre Arts. Since 2003 she has appeared in more than 30 films and since 2007 she has been one of the leading actresses at the State Theater of Nations. The actress became well known after playing supporting roles in In the Fog directed by Sergei Loznitsa and The Edge directed by Alexei Uchitel. Lead roles in the drama film The Bride, the comedy Santa Lucia, and the mystical thriller Sonnentau brought her popularity among Russian audiences.[1]
