Yugar is a rural suburb located the Moreton Bay Region in South East Queensland 20 km from Brisbane.

In the 2011 Census the population of Yugar is 395, 47.1% female and 52.9% male.[1] The median/average age of the Yugar population is 43 years of age, 6 years above the Australian average. 77.2% of people living in Yugar were born in Australia.
