Yuddham

Yuddham (English: War) is a 2014 Telugu romantic comedy, action film directed by Bharathi Ganesh. The film stars Tarun Kumar and Yami Gautam.^[1][2][3]

Brief Overview

Yuddham, besides Tarun and Yami in the lead roles, features noted Telugu filmstar, late Srihari, Chandra Mohan (actor), Brahmanandam, Chalapathi Rao, and Ashish Vidyarthi. The film is considered to prove a jackpot for the Tollywood hero as the producer, Natti Kumar, plans to make 550 copies of the film, the highest in Tarun's film career. This film is Real Star Srihari's last film as he died with brief illness on 9 October 2013. This film was released as a tribute to Srihari who played a pivotal role in it.^[4]

Tarun, who made his break into Telugu films with smash hits, has been going through a lean patch as off late as his movies have been not doing well at the Box Office thereby starting again from the bottom of the ladder to taste success. Yuddham was speculated on bringing back Tarun to a better standing in Tollywood but it couldn't generate buzz and the film's music and trailer received mixed respones from the critics.^[5]
