Youth Over Flowers (Hangul: 꽃보다 청춘; RR: Ggotboda Cheongchun)[1] is a 2014 South Korean travel-reality show that aired on tvN from August 1 to October 10, 2014 on Fridays at 22:00 for 11 episodes.[2]

Episodes one to six starred singer-songwriters in their forties, Yoon Sang, You Hee-yeol and Lee Juck as they go on a backpacking tour of Peru, with Machu Picchu as their ultimate destination.[3]

Episodes seven to eleven starred actors and Reply 1994 costars Yoo Yeon-seok, Son Ho-jun (both 30 years old) and Baro (22 years old) as they travel through Laos.[4][5]

Reception

Though lower than its predecessor Grandpas Over Flowers, the first three episodes of spin-off Youth Over Flowers recorded a solid average viewership rating of 5.8 percent (Korean cable programs typically have difficulty reaching 1 percent).[6]
