Tyree Pittman (born November 14, 1993), better known as Young Chop on da Beat, or simply Young Chop, is an American rapper and a record producer from Chicago, Illinois. He is signed to Warner Bros. Records. He gained fame for producing Chief Keef's songs "I Don't Like", "Love Sosa" and "3 Hunna", which earned him significant attention in the hip hop community in 2012.

Biography

Pittman grew up in the South Side of Chicago, Illinois. He started making beats when he was 11 years old. He was taught by his cousin.[5] He was childhood friends with noted Chicago artist Chief Keef and went on to produce many of his songs.[6] Chop is part of a production team collective known as BandKamp which also includes Producer and CEO BandKamp Paris Beuller, Chief Keef's Back From The Dead was the official first album he produced. [7]
