York is a Census-designated place in Greenlee County, Arizona. It is near the halfway point of the town of Duncan and Greenlee County's county seat, Clifton. Most residents work for Freeport McMoRan in Morenci, Arizona near the county seat for the Morenci Mine.The major homing is in trailer homes. As of 2013, York's population was 556.
