Anthony "Yogi" Allgood (born July 3, 1984) is an American music entrepreneur and marketing executive. He, along with Jan Michael Hoeglund run the digital marketing firm The 101 Group. He also facilitated the creation, production, launch, and promotion of several successful branded tours such as Outerloop Management's Scream It Like You Mean It tour and the Music With A Mission tour.[1][2][3][4]
History
Yogi was raised in Virginia Beach, VA. He is the son of Tony Allgood Sr., an avid drawer who attended Rhode Island School of Design and also a medical supply driver; and Maxine Allgood, an executive assistant.
Career
Yogi started his career at the Endangered Group, a management and booking firm in Milwaukee, WI. This firm was run by members of Bury Your Dead, Misery Signals, and The Receiving End of Sirens. Having only worked there for 2 years, Yogi was able to quickly get the attention of Outerloop Management, a management firm based out of Washington, DC run by industry veteran Mike Mowery. He worked there for over 5 and half years producing branded tours, managing artists and launching successful marketing campaigns for notable brands such as Compassion International, Converse, LA Gear, World Vision, Rockstar Energy Drink, Cure International, Activision, and Monster Energy.
Yogi Allgood was also the Vice President of Creative, Touring and Sponsorships at Traxion Control, the sister company of Outerloop Management. Yogi and the team at Traxion Control put together several events for brands such as Monster Energy Drink, Call Of Duty, Rockstar Energy Drink, Macbeth Footwear, Vans, and Compassion International.[5]
Yogi Allgood was also the author of "The Night District" website, a go to guide on men’s fashion, culture and cuisine and online handbook with tips for the modern gentlemen.[6]
Yogi Allgood worked at G&G Entertainment during most of 2013, a marketing and management firm based out of New York. G&G Entertainment are responsible for multi-platinum artists No Malice (formerly known as Clipse), Chad Hugo's MSSL CMMND and ABC Duet's star Bridget Carrington. After securing G&G Media a successful partnership deal with No Malice (formerly known as Clipse) and Monster Energy,[7] he accepted the position of Managing Partner for the San Diego-based digital marketing firm, The 101 Group in fall of 2013. His duties include focusing mainly on big picture opportunities for the growth of the company. Produce creative partnerships with artists and other companies. Duties range from traveling the globe fostering partnerships with creative talent, working on new tech developments with the president, brokering deals with branded tours and establishing relationships with the future members of the 101 Group family. He further secured a partnership with Mark Claassen at Eta- Live and Monster Energy for two newly established branded tours that are scheduled to launch in 2014.
