Yergol is a panchayat village[1] in the southern state of Karnataka, India.[2][3] It is located in the Yadgir Taluka of Yadgir district in Karnataka. It has a famous temple of Shri Gavisiddeshwara Samsthana Matha and also Uttaradi math. One Shri Sangameshwar Devaru is PITHADIPATHI of Shri Gaviddeshwar Math Yergol and Shri B.M.Patil Advocate is working as a General Secretory of the committee, with the help of the villagers every year going on PURANA Function in MAHASHIVARATRI.

Yergol is the only village in the gram panchayat.[4]

Demographics

As of 2001 India census, Yergol had a population of 8,132 with 4,175 males and 3,957 females.[2]
