Yeni Köprü Bridge

Yeni Köprü Bridge Yeni Köprü meaning New Bridge in Turkish, is a historical Ottoman bridge in Edirne, Turkey, it crosses the Meriç.[1]

History

The bridge has twelve arches. It was begun under the Ottoman sultan Mahmud II (1808–1839) and completed in 1843 by his successor Abdülmecid.
