The yellow-lored bristlebill or lesser bristlebill (Bleda notatus) is a species of songbird in the Pycnonotidae family. It was formerly lumped with the green-tailed bristlebill (Bleda eximius) but is now often considered to be a separate species.

The western form B. n. notatus is found in northern Angola, Cameroon, south-west Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, western Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and south-east Nigeria. Further east, B. n. ugandae occurs in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, South Sudan, north-west Tanzania and Uganda. It may be a separate species, the yellow-eyed bristlebill (Bleda ugandae).
