Yaviza is a town in the Darién Province of Panama. The town marks the southeastern end of the Pan-American Highway, at the north end of the Darién Gap. It has a population of 1,611. It is considered a dangerous area.[1] and is considered the gateway to the Darién Gap from Panama.[2]
