Yaru Khel consists of the Pathan people. They contain the Niazi's and Khan's. It got the name "Yaru Khel" from Yaru- Yar-Mohmad Khan and Khel meaning "tribe". Although Yrau Khel may just be called "Yaru Khel" it really branches down into different "Khels". In this case, "Yaru" is a nickname of the leader of the Yaru Khel tribe, for all Khels are named after the leader of tribe itself. Since Yaru was the leader himself, his generations have been passed down. Even though the original tribe name was Yaru, the generations can be named after the eldest of their family like the grandfather or great-grandfather. There are further sub-tribes of yarukhel => ... shah wali khel, godal , karam khel , baki khel , mangul khel , Khayali , Lallu khel , akbar khel, and others . The FaMous persons are Khalas khan(shah wali khel) ,Umer Hayat khan(shah wali khel) , Hayatullah godal (LAte) , Ameer Azam
