Yanick Pires Moreira (born July 31, 1991) is an Angolan college basketball player who currently plays for the SMU Mustangs. He primarily plays the center position.

Moreira was called for goaltending on a 3-point shot by Bryce Alford, in the closing seconds of the Mustangs' second-round game in the 2015 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament against UCLA. Moreira took responsibility for the loss, saying "It's all my fault, I shouldn't have let the ball touch the rim," and also saying "I shouldn't have made that mistake as a senior."[1]

International career

On May 2013, Moreira was summoned for the 2013 Afrobasket preliminary Angolan squad.[2]
