Yana Urqu (Quechua yana, black, urqu mountain,[2] "black mountain", hispanicized spelling Yanaorjo) is a mountain in the Urupampa mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 4,800 metres (15,748 ft) high. It lies in the Cusco Region, Calca Province, Calca District. Yana Urqu is situated south-east of the mountain Sawasiray, south of the mountain Q'irayuq, north of the mountains Aqusuni (Ajosune, Aqosune) and Apurinri (Apurinru) and north-west of the mountains Puma Kallanka (Pumacallanca) and Llamayuq Q'asa (Llamayojcasa).

The two little lakes north-east of Yana Urqu are named Anqasqucha (Quechua for "blue lake", Ancascocha) and Suyruqucha (Quechua suyru a very long dress tracked after when worn, qucha lake, Suirococha).[1][3]
