Y.R.N.: Tha Album is the upcoming debut studio album by American hip hop trio Migos. The album is set to be released on June 16, 2015 by 300 Entertainment, Quality Control Music and Atlantic Records. The album will have features such as French Montana, Meek Mill, Young Thug, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, T.I. & Boosie Badazz .[1]

Background

Quavo, Offset & Takeoff, collectively known as Migos, are an Atlanta-based rap trio who formed in 2011. After releasing nine mixtapes as a group in that time, they've gained mass popularity. On June 13, 2013, Migos released their first installment in the Y.R.N. series, a mixtape Y.R.N. (Young Rich Niggas). On April 18, 2015, all three members were arrested during their performance at Georgia State University, and all three are facing felony gun and drug charges.[2] Though they remain in custody, and were forced to cancel their tour, it's been assured that Y.R.N.: Tha Album will be ready for its June 16 release.[3][4]

Singles

On February 5, 2015, Migos released the first single off the album "One Time", produced by Deko.[5] On March 23, 2015, they released a music video for the single, in cross-promotion with the Youtube Music Awards.[6]

Promotion

Migos will be going on tour in July 2015 entitled ‘The Yung Rich Nation Tour'.[7]
