Xegundo Xou da Xuxa is the third studio album by singer, presenter and actress Xuxa, released on June 23, 1987 by Som Livre. The album sold more than 2.754 million copies.[1]

Production

The album was produced by Michael Sullivan and Paulo Massadas, with artistic coordination Max Pierre.[2] The work yields three singles: Festa do Estica e Puxa, Campeão e Rexeita da Xuxa. It is one of the most popular albums of Xuxa's career, surpassing sales in the previous album Xou da Xuxa (1986).

Release and reception

The Xegundo Xou da Xuxa was released on 23 June 1987. The album managed to overcome previous album sales, and brought a certain innovation in the songs and especially in Xuxa voice has improved considerably in terms of the songs from her first album Xou da Xuxa (1986).[3] The Xegundo Xou da Xuxa became one of the bestselling albums of Brazil and so far is the sixth place with 2,754,000 copies sold, and the best-selling third Xuxa career.
