Xavier Richards (born 25 May 1993) is an Australian rules footballer currently playing for the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League (AFL).

As a youngster Richards played for the East Sandringham Junior Club. Richards then went on to play for the Sandringham Dragons in the TAC Cup and Victoria Metro at the AFL National Under 18 Championships. Richards older brother Ted Richards also plays for the Swans.[1]

Richards made his AFL debut for Sydney in Round 14 of the 2013 AFL season as a late replacement for Mitch Morton, who withdrew from the side due to injury.[2] Richards started as the sub and came on late in the 4th quarter.
