The Wyss Center for Bio- and Neuro-engineering is a cross-disciplinary research institute which focuses on engineering applied to neurosciences.[1]
The Wyss Center for Bio- and Neuro-engineering (8000 m2), together with the EPFL-UNIGE Biomedical Centre, the Human Brain Project and the Biotech Innovation Square, is part of the Campus Biotech (in the former Merck Serono building) located in Geneva, Switzerland.
The institute is funded by Hansjörg Wyss, who previously created the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering in the United States.
