Wuhan Greenland Center[4] is a 636-metre-tall (2,087 ft) 125-storey skyscraper currently under construction in Wuhan, China.[1][5] In June 2011, Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architects in conjunction with Thornton Tomasetti Engineers won the design competition to build the tower for Greenland Group.[6] The design has many energy saving features.[6] The building's height was increased to 636 m, and the expected completion date is now 2017.[1][5]

- Jul 1, 2011, overall construction started.
- Jun 28, 2012, started building underground reinforcement structure.[8]
- Sep 12, 2012, started digging the base.[9]
- Jun 26, 2013, base completed.[10]
- Jan 4, 2014, first steel beams installed.[11]
- Jul 28, 2014, basement finished, above-ground construction started.[12]
