"Written All Over Your Face" is a song by American R&B group The Rude Boys, released as the second single from their debut album Rude Awakening. The song was written and produced by group member Larry Marcus with additional production from session musician and recording engineer Jim Salamone. Featuring extra vocals from their mentor, the late Gerald Levert, it became the group's signature song and spent one week at number one on the U.S. Billboard R&B chart. It also peaked at number sixteen on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in 1991.[1]
In 1991, it won the Billboard Music Award for No. 1 R&B Single of the Year.[2] Currently, there are no known projects underway by The Rude Boys.
