Wool Bay is a small town on the east coast of southern Yorke Peninsula in South Australia. Wool Bay is 215 kilometres by road from Adelaide and approximately 70 kilometres west of Adelaide across Gulf St Vincent.

The coast at Wool Bay consists of cliffs with a sandy beach at their base. There is an old lime kiln in the cliffs above the jetty. Wool Bay has a jetty which was used for loading lime onto boats, but is now used only for recreational fishing and recreational scuba diving. There is also a boat ramp on the beach.

Towns near Wool Bay include Edithburgh, Yorketown, Coobowie and Stansbury. Port Giles is three kilometres south of Wool Bay.

Wool Bay is in the Yorke Peninsula Council, the South Australian House of Assembly electoral district of Goyder and the Australian House of Representatives Division of Wakefield.
