Woodlands House School is a school in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, India.[1][2] The school was founded in 1969 and is the oldest school in Srinagar. The school consists of Boy's wing and Girls' wing separately.[3]
Founder
The school was founded by Late Mrs Rup S.P Singh(Founder/Principal),starting the school with only 4 children.[4]
Current Principal
The Current principal in the office is Mr. Riki Singh who is Mrs. Late Rup S.P Singh's son. He came in charge after the death of his father Mr. S.P Singh(Surinder Pal Singh). Mr. Riki Singh has two sons. Fareed Singh one of the sons of Mr. Riki Singh has shown a keen interest in doing work for the school. He might in future be the principal of WoodLands House School

The motto of Woodlands House School is Work is Devotion.
Location
The boy's wing is located at Gupkar Road, Sonwar Bagh, Srinagar. While as the girl's wing is located at Shivpora, Srinagar.

Prestige
The School has gone through many ups and downs in life. It was regarded as one of the best schools in the State Of Jammu and Kashmir for its quality education before the year 2000. The popularity of the School in Kashmir fell after the year 2000 because of the establishment of a large number of schools in Kashmir. [5]
