Women's football in Japan is one of the rising powers of women's football.[1][2][3]

National competition

L. League is the national competition for women fooballers in Japan.[4][5]

National team

The team, organised by the Japan Football Association, are the only Asian women's side to win FIFA Women's World Cup, winning in 2011.[6][7]
