Woźniak (feminine: Woźniak/Woźniakowa, plural Woźniakowie; English pronunciation: /wɔːznjæk/; Polish pronunciation: [vɔʑˈɲak]) is the tenth most common surname in Poland (89,015 people in 2009).[1]
The origin of the name probably comes from the caretaker – or the driver – the person in charge of horse-drawn carriages.
