The Williams Memorial Institute is a historic school building at 110 Broad Street in New London, Connecticut. It is a large T-shaped building, 2-1/2 stories in height, built out of rough-cut granite with brownstone trim. Built in 1891 to a design by Shepley, Rutan & Coolidge, it is a fine local example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture. It was built for the Williams Memorial Institute, a private secondary school for girls.[2]
The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on January 30, 1978.[1]
