William Troost-Ekong (born 1 September 1993 in Haarlem) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays for Dutch Eredivisie side FC Dordrecht, on loan from FC Groningen.[1]

Career

He signed a 2 year contract on 23 July 2013 in the Netherlands following his release from Tottenham Hotspur. Troost-Ekong started his first game in the Eredivisie on 21 September 2013 against RKC Waalwijk. But previously made his unofficial debut on 29 June, in a friendly game against RWE Eemsmond.

On 29 January 2014 he was loaned out to FC Dordrecht for the rest of the season. With FC Dordrecht he won the Jupiler League Play-off Final earning them promotion to the Eredivisie. On 11 July 2014, his loan spell was extended until the summer of 2015.

Troost-Ekong is a Dutch youth international representing the Netherlands at U19 and U20 level.
