William D. Snyder (born September 6, 1952) is a Martin County, FL sheriff and former Republican politician who served as the District 82 representative in the House of Representatives of the State of Florida. He was first elected to the Florida House in 2006 and was reelected in 2008.
Representative was born in New York City on September 6, 1952.
He earned his Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice in 1976 from Miami-Dade Community College. He worked for the Miami-Dade Police Department and joined the Martin County Sheriff's Office in 1994. He graduated from the FBI Academy at the University of Virginia in 1999 and Florida Gulf Coast University in 2010.
