William Irwin (born May 20, 1968 in Niagara Falls, Ontario) is a retired boxer, who represented Canada at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. There he was stopped in the second round of the lightweight division ( 60 kg) by Ronald Chavez of the Philippines. A year earlier he won the bronze medal at the Pan American Games in Havana, Cuba. Billy "the Kid" Irwin later had a successful professional career, establishing himself as a contender in the lightweight division. He retired from boxing after losing to Juan Diaz in 2005, his second unsuccessful world title challenge. His final record was 42(30)-6-0.

He now trains amateur and upcoming international fighters at Fight Club Canada in Niagara Falls, Ontario. One of them won the 2012 Canadian Champion best youth boxer award as his love & commitment for the sport shows with the results from his upcoming fighters both Provincially and Nationally.
