William H. Davidson (lieutenant governor)

William H. Davidson was Lieutenant Governor of Illinois from December 9, 1836 to December 7, 1838. He replaced Alexander Jenkins before he resigned from the office. 6 days later, he died 4 days before his birthday started. He was only 37 years old.
