"Wilderness" is a song by American recording artist Nick Jonas. It was co-written by Ian Kirkpatrick, Sam Martin and Sean Douglas. It was released on October 21, 2014. "Wilderness" was the fourth song to be officially released from Jonas' eponymous second album, serving as the second promotional single.

"Wilderness" was written by Ian Kirkpatrick, Sam Martin and Sean Douglas and produced by Kirkpatrick. It's a groovy pop-soul track. where Nick recommends his girl that they should "take it back to basics". And by that Nick means; get naked, and return to nature, something like a modern "Adam and Eve".[1]
On October 14, 2014, "Wilderness", alongside the song "Teacher", were leaked online.[2]
That same day they where made available in Australia on iTunes that same day.[3]
Reception
The song received generally favorable reviews, and was complemented for its erotic nature.[4] Mtv's Emilee Lindner wrote that the song takes listeners back to caveman days — sexual caveman days. That With “Wilderness,” we get a staccato piano beat, falsetto goodness and whole lot of hollering from men in the background.[5]
Live performances
Jonas has performed the song as part of his Nick Jonas Live tour.[6] On April 13, 2015 he performed the song live in the United Kingdom. as part of his Album Launchparty. [7]
