"Wild Wild West" is the title a hip hop song written and recorded in 1987 by Kool Moe Dee and released as a single in 1988.
Kool Moe Dee's 1988 release deals with the differences in gangs dealing with violence. Released on the Jive label, it was a R&B hit, reaching number four on Billboard's R&B chart. The song was also featured in an episode of MTV's Rob and Big when Rob and Big added a mini horse to their family. It is also one of the videos appearing on MTV's Beavis & Butthead. It was later sampled by Will Smith in this 1999 song of the same name whom Kool Moe Dee (along with Dru Hill) was featured in that song.
