Wilaquta (Aymara wila blood, blood-red, quta lake,[2][3] "red lake", hispanicized spelling Vilajota) is mountain in the Kallawaya mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 5,000 metres (16,404 ft) high. It is located in the Puno Region, Carabaya Province, in the southwest of the Ituata District, near the border with the Macusani District. Wilaquta lies northeast of the lake Thujsaquta, north of the mountain Thujsaquta and northwest of the mountain Allpaqhata (Allpajata).[1]
