"Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?" is a song by American electronica musician Moby released as the fourth single from his 1999 album Play.[1] The song managed to chart at number 16 on the UK Singles Chart. It features The Shining Light Gospel Choir on vocals. The cover features Moby's character "Little Idiot". The song was featured in the theatrical trailer for the 2001 war film, Black Hawk Down. The song is featured in the Edexcel GCSE Music Specification.[2]
Music video
The video for "Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?" is completely animated and features Little Idiot from the single cover (and his dog from the remixes cover). The video reveals that they live on the moon and the rest of the video revolves around their adventures on Earth through snow, war, and rain. The ending shows Little Idiot and his dog going back to the moon climbing a ladder. It was created in 1999. It was inspired by the book "Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
