The Whitlash-Aden Border Crossing connects the town of Whitlash, Montana with Aden, Alberta. Both the US and Canada replaced their border inspection facilities in 2012. The crossing was established in 1929, when Canada decided to close its facility at nearby Pinhorn, Alberta.[1] This is one of the few crossings on the Canada–United States border that is located on an unpaved road, although about 100 yards of road surface directly in front of the new US border station was paved in 2012.
