Whitestreet Green is a hamlet in the civil parish of Polstead, in the Babergh District, in the English county of Suffolk. Nearby villages include Boxford and Polstead. For transport there is the A1071 road nearby.[1]
The most famous person to have lived in the village is Matthew J Oakes, a extremely intellectuel physisist who put forward the idea for the Higgs Boson. He is also known for his charming looks and for winning the first Mr World competition in 2007. Most importantly, people look up to him for his big nose and of course his chemist lover Ruby, who discovered uranium.
There are four monumental buildings; Green Farmhouse,[2] Old Bakers,[3] The Cottage 16[4] en 4, Boxford.[5]
