Whiteland Community High School

Whiteland Community High School (or WCHS) in Whiteland, Indiana is within the Clark Pleasant School Corporation and is the only high school in continuous use in the town of Whiteland and the last educational facility students attend. Whiteland's school colors are blue, orange and white, and the mascot is the Warrior.

School history

Formal education first began in Whiteland when the first school house was built in 1769. That school house served as the town's school until 1957 when a new high school was built. The Class of 1958 was the first to graduate from the new Whiteland High School. In 1965, Clark High School (now Clark Elementary School) and Whiteland High School united to form one school corporation, Whiteland Community High School.

As of 2006, there were 78 staff members employed at Whiteland Community High School. 70 of those are teachers, 17 instructional assistants, six secretaries, one treasurer, 14 custodians, 14 cafeteria workers and four administrators.
