The Wheelockville District is an historic district located at Mendon and Henry streets in the village of Wheelockville in the town of Uxbridge, Massachusetts. On January 20, 1984, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places. The Luke Taft Mill was built at this location in 1825 and then later the Waucantuck Mill was built which developed the first "wash and wear fabrics". The Blackstone Valley region has been called "the birthplace of the American Industrial revolution."[2]
