Westfield Plenty Valley is a shopping centre in the suburb of Mill Park in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Until its expansion in 2008, it was known as Plenty Valley Town Centre and hosted one major store (Coles Supermarket), and approximately 22 specialty stores.

Westfield commenced a re-development program for the centre in 2007, expanding the area to 53,086 m2,[4] at a cost of approx A$200 million. Westfield Plenty Valley has approx 183 stores, and is anchored by four major stores, namely Coles, Woolworths, Target, and Kmart. In addition, there are also 2,230 car spaces, a 600-seat food court, and seven mini-major stores, including Aldi and JB Hi-Fi. The centre opened on 22 May 2008.

History

Development

Stage 3 is in the planning stage, but is not due for completion til 2012, due to City of Whittlesea planning constraints that subject all future extensions to planning approvals.

eBay Shopping Centre Re-development Services is also planning on building their first ever eBay brick-and-mortar store in this shopping centre.

Reading Cinemas are expecting to build a Gold Class Cinema complex at the site. Contracts were signed for the new multi-million dollar complex to be completed by 2015.

It is also to be opening a Myer department store[5] and over 100 specialty shops.

Appearances
