Western Sydney Wanderers FC Youth is an Australian semi-professional association football team based in the western region of Sydney, New South Wales. Founded in 2012, it is the youth and reserve team of Western Sydney Wanderers. The team currently plays in National Youth League and they will compete in the National Premier Leagues NSW in 2016
History
The team was founded in 2012, as a Western Sydney Wanderers representative team for the National Youth League competition, replacing the defunct Gold Coast United. The team is expected to join the state-based National Premier Leagues NSW in 2016.[1][2]
Stadium
The team's primary home venue is Blacktown International Sportspark in the suburb of Rooty Hill. The facility in Blacktown is also home to the club's training base. The team also playes matches at various locations across Western Sydney, including Marconi Stadium, Campbelltown Stadium, Penrith Stadium and Cook Park.
